Pressure Sensitivity Problems

Just a little tip on activating your tablet’s pressure sensitivity because I noticed so many artists especially ones who are new to using tablets are having problems with this. Also, many visitors who were directed to my site were looking for a way to solve this problem.
It’s very easy. The first thing you need to check is your drivers. Make sure you’ve properly installed them. If in doubt, uninstall and reinstall it properly.

If reinstalling your driver failed, then the next thing to do is to update your tablet’s driver. Go the the official site of your tablet’s manufacturer. Navigate to their support page and then to their drivers section. Select the correct driver that matches you tablet model & operating system and download. Uninstall the current driver on your PC and install the new one and then restart if it doesn’t ask you to. Your pen’s pressure sensitivity should be active by now.

If not, then I’m sure it’s because you are using the wrong tablet. There are many tablet manufacturers out there but your best and safest bet when it comes to choosing the right one is WACOM. A Graphire model if your are a beginner artist or an Intous3 if you’ve got good experience in digital drawing and it’s going to cost you less than 280 USD. It’s a good deal :D

Genius tablets are also good. I’ve used one for a year and a half and have had my share of problems with it but 90% of the time it was working ok. But, I had to reinstall the driver every time the pressure sensitivity would stop working. It was troublesome doing so lol.
So, if you are using a tablet other than WACOM or Genius, you might want to get it replaced with something that is more guaranteed to work properly.

Hope this helps the curious visitors who are too shy to ask 8D

Kusuriuri sketch

A quick kusuriuri doodle because I can. I really need to watch the last two episodes of Mononoke. I’m always having troubles watching the last episodes of my favorite series Orz.

Drawr.net

As much as I love this site, I hate it because it reminds me how much I truly suck in drawing orz but for the first time, I won’t allow myself to be intimidated by Japanese art monsters. Despite how much I suck, I’ll continue drawing crap on their site until I get better. I can’t learn new things if I continue avoiding those who know how to produce good art.
I’ve had enough with compliments that takes me to no where in terms of improving =’( *Not that I don’t appreciate them, I just wish someone out there be honest with me and tell me I suck for once =(*

Dunno why but I’ll be working my ass off T_T/

Tada no Kusuriuri

Mononoke

Sorry for the lack of updates in my gallery. I’m having an issue with it’s script erasing album titles and image descriptions on it’s own. Until I get it fixed, there won’t be much to watch out for.

Also, Thank you for over 35.000+ Hits!

I should draw something special for my visitors ♥~ Thank you everyone for dropping by my site and a special thank you to those who leave their thoughts (*´∇`*)ノ

Where is Happyness ?

I’d gladly buy a ton or two if it was available in stores. I’ll watch and maybe draw some Gintama to cheer me up instead. I’m sure I’ll forget things in no time.

Some TegakiE scribbles

Since I lack the time needed to produce shiny polished images that I can be proud of and my free time is only enough for scribbling, I’ll be using my TegakiE account more often from now on or whenever my time allows. I’m sure it’s the latter and even my updates there will be very sporadic. No time OTZ.
I’d very much love to use Tegaki JPN because it has way cooler options than the English one but I’m easily intimidated by Japanese artists lol. They draw so prettily it’s almost unbelievable their tegakis are made with such primitive tool. Sometimes I get depressed when I see their works and go like, ‘wth am I doing here producing so much crap instead of getting better orzorzorz’. But then again, maybe feeling depressed over art is a good thing ? At least to me, since it makes me want to work even harder to get better. I dunno why would I want to get better since it’s useless anyway but meh, if you are doing something, you gutta give it your all, right ? lol
Anyways,
